For many of us, physical activity isn’t our number one priority everyday, nor do we even know where to begin so that we can achieve our fitness goals. At Fitness Corner, your personal fitness is our main priority. If you are a beginner in the weight room and have specific goals in mind for yourself, or if you have been lifting for years but simply need something new, we can help. A personal trainer can provide reliable knowledge and positive support to help you reach your goals safely and effectively. We offer a variety of options for all ages interested in personal training. All of our Personal Trainers are fully certified.

Holly Vanderzwet

Holly has been the owner of Fitness Corner in Port Elgin for 14 years and in Southampton for 4 years! She has over 20 years experience in the field of fitness. Holly is a certified personal trainer, fitness instructor and nutritional counselor under S.P.I. and Can-Fit-Pro. She also has a Bachelor of Physical Education degree from McMaster University. Her great range of knowledge and enthusiastic personality has benefited many clients from ages 10-85.

Marcia Cox

Marcia, who is a Can- Fit- Pro certified personal training specialist and group fitness instructor, has been involved in the fitness industry for over 15 years. She believes in optimizing quality of life through a healthy mind, body & spirit. Marcia’s goal is to help individuals focus on realistic goals by creating inspiring fitness programs geared toward specific needs and life styles.

Tiffany Krause

Tiffany graduated from the Canadian Therapeutic College with diplomas in both Massage Therapy and Sports Injury Therapy. After practicing for 3 years she developed a physical setback that no longer enabled her to practice massage. Having worked in a gym for 10 years it was only time before Tiffany continued her career as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. Tiffany is a certified Personal Trainer through Can-Fit-Pro. Having danced all her life Tiffany completed the British Associations of Teachers of Dance Teaching Certification when she was 18. Tiffany also became a licensed Zumba instructor in early 2011. Tiffany is constantly continuing her education by attending conferences and courses provided by the fitness industry. Tiffany specializes in rehabilitative training. With her sports injury therapy background she can assess and provide exercises to help in the healing process. Tiffany will work closely with a health care professional of your choice to come up with a program that is best for you. Tiffany can also do functional training for the general public, weight loss training, and sports specific training.

Linda Oehm

Linda is a certified Personal Trainer Specialist and Spin Instructor through Can-Fit-Pro. She is an experienced competitor in cycling, running and a variety of team sports. She is also a member of the Owen Sound Cycle Association. As a fitness enthusiast, Linda is committed to providing specialized fitness programs of varying exercises and intensities that meet the goals of individual clients and group classes

Vanje Watson

Vanje is energetic and enthusiastic about getting healthy and feeling great! She has an Honours BA in Kinesiology & Physical Education & is also certified as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. Vanje has great experience with athletic training, TRX, semi-private, and working with individuals who need extra attention. She has trained individuals ages 9- 90. Vanje strives to make each program specific to the needs and goals of each individual.

Greg Reid

An experienced fitness enthusiast, Greg’s specialty is pure strength and size training. Greg can also design an excellent general weight training program to help you meet your fitness goals. Greg is certified under Can-Fit-Pro.

Rhonda Foster

Rhonda specializes in physical rehabilitation. She has an Honours degree in Kinesiology and Phys Ed. She is also an osteopathic manual practitioner and has worked in the physical therapy setting for many years. She knows how to customize your program to best suit your needs and help alleviate your pain.

Carol Warnica

Carol is very passionate about teaching yoga and was awarded high honours on her 240 hr Hatha Yoga Certification from Aura Wellness Center and is currently working towards upgrading to a 500 hr certification. The benefits and rewards of a regular yoga practice are profound, to say the least. Some of the health benefits include; increased strength, flexibility and mobility of the joints, improved balance, co ordination, posture and alignment, greater efficiency in the respiratory, cardiovascular and eliminatory systems and reduced stress, to name a few. Private yoga sessions allow you to practice at your own level with a program designed specifically for your unique needs. Whether you are new to yoga, recovering from illness or injury or you are looking to further your practice, yoga can help you reach your full potential, mind, body and spirit.
